Are you one of the many women who holds onto your pelvic floor for dear life? If so, this episode is for you! And if you suffer from pelvic floor issues, but don't think you hold on tight, then this episode will be a really interesting experiment. Work through the relaxation and then assess how much tension you could release. It's often really surprising how much tension we hold in our pelvic floors!

Learning to let go and relax the pelvic floor can be a real 'aha' moment for women. It can also be a moment that defines the start of a healing journey - the realisation of how much they hold on, and how they can start to let go. 

Holding the pelvic floor and surrounding tissues tight, can have chronic and unexpected results, including  PF dysfunction... Why? Because an effective muscle is one that can contract and relax at the appropriate magnitude and at the appropriate time. 

So, for you today, I have created this pelvic floor relaxation, but please do not listen whilst driving or ding anything where you need full concentration !
